Meet Jim

For the past 10+ years I have been a general contractor in the Peterborough and surrounding area. Before that I was an assistant manager for Blockbuster Video before it closed in 2011. I graduated from Fleming College construction skills in 2013 and the carpentry advanced program in 2015. I gained construction skills while working for a local custom home builder for 2 years before starting my own contracting business.

I am dedicated to serving my community by providing expert home renovation and maintenance services. Throughout the years, I have encountered and resolved a wide range of challenges, gaining valuable experience and insight into the intricacies of home systems and structures. Recently, I completed my certification in home inspection through ICA and I am fully licensed and insured. With a strong reputation built on word-of-mouth referrals, I am confident that my transition into home inspection will be equally successful and well-received.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on numerous impactful projects, including a notable highlight involving a prominent Canadian HGTV personality, where I had the privilege of appearing on screen. Additionally, I contributed to the creation of a large-scale commercial set featuring a custom-built freestanding kitchen, which was showcased in commercials with the HGTV spokesperson and earned an award at the Toronto Home Show.

My passion is to help home owners make informed decisions when selling or buying a home.
